"The City of Daytona Beach, Florida"

Welcome to the Daytona Beach Area
About Daytona Beach
Set against balmy breezes and anchored by 23 miles of clean, hard-packed, white sand, Daytona Beach is known as the “World’s Most Famous Beach.” Located on the east coast of Central Florida, Daytona Beach is internationally known for its racing roots, hosting some of the largest motorsports events in the world including the Great American Race, the Daytona 500.
Tourists and residents alike treasure its cheery brand of southern hospitality. Nearly 500,000 residents in the Daytona Beach metro area and 8 million visitors enjoy moderate weather, quality educational choices, exceptional recreational activities, an active arts community and, of course, one of the most beautiful, family-friendly beaches in Florida.
The climate in Daytona Beach is also ideal. The area enjoys mild, year-round temperatures which range from an average of 59.3F (20.6C) in the winter to an average temperature of 78.5F (30.4C) in the summer.
One of several major cities in the state of Florida within a few hours drive - Orlando, Jacksonville, Tampa, Gainesville, Miami to name just a few.
Volusia County is excelling in important economic development initiatives and job growth. All of this should boost Volusia real estate values which have traditionally been less expensive than the national average price for real estate. If you're moving to FL from another state, you want to buy real estate in the Volusia County area. I live in the Daytona area and to tell you the truth, I love it, specially in rush hour, like in most big cities you are stuck in traffic for a long time, not here, plus you are so close to the beach, the springs and there is always things to do indoors and out, Daytona is also called The World’s Most Famous Beach, and it is beautiful, if you want a place to live and raise a family, Daytona Beach and surrounding cities it is number one place to choose.
